ABOUT P2

Peter Putka is the creative force behind  P2. Peter started out as a lowly (but well paid) ghostwriter on Hollywood films and also wrote the screenplay for the Leonard Cohen film "The Favourite Game". He worked as a script and acquisitions consultant for various production companies both in Hollywood and Canada, but never once had to go to rehab. He executive-produced the hugely successful, multi-screen, comedic and irreverent web/TV integrated show - "WhileTheMenWatch" - in collaboration with CBC Sports.

He’s directed comedic branded content for the likes of Chrysler, Air Bnb, Jet.com, H&M and more and is Executive Producer of "Lullaby League" starring Jim O’Heir (Parks & Rec) now in development with All3 Media (The Voice) and the web series “Motherjudger”  ( Scary Mommy & Some Spider Studios), episodes of which have had upwards of 5 million views.

He also won an EMMY for directing the film “Imagine New York” and has worked with Harvey Keitel, Kevin Bacon, Yoko Ono, John Turturo, Lewis Black and some of the funniest comedic actors on Funny or Die who were mere mortals when he met them.

Peter also enjoys writing about himself in the third person and has a knack for assembling IKEA furniture.
